Tangshan Enhances Scheme and Implementation of Significant Science and Technology Projects to Support Industry Optimization and Upgrade

The first is to push forward demonstration and popularization of the nation’s energy conservation and new energy automobile. A Tangshan leading group for demonstration and popularization of energy conservation and new energy automobile has been adjusted in time; “Tangshan’s demonstration and popularization Scheme on energy conservation and new energy automobile” has been readjusted and improved; “Tangshan’s Task Decomposition on demonstration and popularization of energy conservation and new energy automobile” has been officially issued, in which task objects are defined and detailed.
The second is to press forward nanogenerator project. Tangshan consigned National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences to compile and demonstrate “Industrial Development Program of Tangshan’s ‘Nano Valley’”, and reported repeatedly to National Development and Reform Committed (NDRC), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), provincial government and Science and Technology Department, to strive to have the project brought into the nation’s special planning, and establish national level major project laboratory in Tangshan and nation’s financial support for its industrialization. 
The third is to bring in positively the DMTO project. Tangshan contacted initiatively with the owner of the technology, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics - Chinese Academy of Sciences, to discuss on the DMTO project’s feasibility to bring into Caofeidian, industrialization prospect, and material supply, etc, and conducted multiple negotiation with Kailuan Group on pushing forward construction of the project. Within the year, it is hopeful to have Kailuan Group as the investor of the project, and to have the project settling in New District Caofeidian.
