A State Media Group Conducts Centralized Interviews in Tangshan

An interview group of state media consisted of backbone journalists from Xinhua News Agency and People’s Daily, Economic Daily, Science and Technology Daily, China Youth Daily came to Tangshan for Centralized Interviews. 
During the period, the interview group focused on interview in aspects of Tangshan’s transition from resource-based city under the guidance of Scientific Development Perspective, development in high and new technology industries, promotion in transforming mode and adjusting structure, and progresses in aspects of project construction, investment invitation, port logistics and trade developments, city construction, and infrastructure construction, etc in Caofeidian. The group made a field trip to US Newnagy (Tangshan), LLC and the selected site for Nano Valley. They learned the significant role the nanotechnology industry plays in accelerating Tangshan’s transformation from a resource city to a high-tech one. According to information, last year in November, Tangshan municipal government had already signed Cooperation Agreement on Nanogenerator Project with US Newnagy. Nanogenerator is a kind of generating device invented with nanotechnology, having broad space for development in aspects of environment monitoring, infrastructure detection, human health, aerospace, Internet of Things, and national defense. 
The group also visited Kailuan State Mine Park, Earthquake Relic Park, Property Building in New District Caofeidian, China-Japan co-constructed Eco-Industry Park and general wharf in Harbour District of Caofeidian.
